What if I have books due?
You may use our book drop off in the parking lot outside Mott Library or the one located to the right of the entrance doors to the library. If you can't get to the library, don't worry! We do not charge overdue fines anymore on most of our print materials and will forgive fines on anything else.
What if I need a book while you are closed?
Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate you during those two weeks with print materials. However, we do have a wide variety of online resources that are available. Librarians will be available via chat to assist you in accessing library resources during this time.

The library has taken a number of precautionary measures for the week we will be open including:
When classes resume on March 23, will there be library services of some sort available?
Yes, library staff will still be working. Most will be working remotely and we will be monitoring our virtual reference services. You can find our chat window on the library's webpage.
How do I access online databases from home?
All you need is your MCC ID. If you've never received your ID, call the reference desk or chat with a librarian and we can look up your barcode for you.
Will I still be able to use MeL.org?
For now, we will not be receiving any materials through MeL delivery. You can still use all the online resources available through MeL.org.
