Mott Library staff are looking forward to serving you again on campus.

This guide will provide information on how we will be providing services and other useful information regarding being in the library. Please use this information to help keep our library safe for everyone.

Appointments will be required for all Mott Library use. This includes using our Computer Lab, second floor quiet study space, Study Rooms, and Circulation Services.  Reference services will remain virtual for the fall semester. We are offering virtual Research Help appointments to be conducted via Zoom.

Friday & Saturday Closed
Sunday (beginning September 13. By appointment only) 12 - 5 pm
Virtual Reference Hours

Saturday & Sunday Closed


For your safety

  • Masks or other appropriate face coverings must be worn in Mott Library. 
  • Please assess your health before coming to campus. If you have developed any unusual symptoms, please reschedule your visit and do not come to the library.
  • Your temperature will be scanned before entry to Mott Library.
  • Returned library materials will be quarantined for 4 days (96 hours.) You will not accrue fines during the time returned items are quarantined. 
  • Please use good handwashing technique and use hand sanitizer to protect yourself and others. Hand sanitizer stations are provided throughout the building.
