Mott Library is now open for business.

Mott Library is open. You are required to wear a mask and be prepared to do a temperature check when entering the building.

While we are no longer requiring appointments, they are still highly recommended. You can either call or use the myLIBRO app to make an appointment.

Library materials may be returned in the book drop found in Lot A or the book drop to the left of the library entrance.

Requesting items

You can request library materials by putting them on hold in the library catalog.  MeLcat service is also available. When items are available for pick-up, you will be contacted via email and instructions will be provided on scheduling your pick-up appointment. All pick-ups of Mott Library materials and MeLCat must be scheduled. We ask that you use the MyLibro app to schedule your time.

Returning items

Please use the outside book drops when returning library materials. You can use the book drop in Lot A or the outside book drop to the right of the library entrance. We request that you do not enter the library to return materials.

MeLCat is a statewide network of over 400 Michigan libraries.  You can search for books, CDs, DVDs and other materials and have the items sent to the Mott Library for you to check out.   Request items with the 14 digit number above the barcode on your Mott ID card.
