Mott Community College Reopening Training: HEALTH and WELLNESS CHECK

For the safety of our College and campus community it is crucial that all faculty, staff, students, onsite partners, and visitors follow all MCC Reopening Standards

Wellness Check IconAssess your health before you travel to Mott Community College.

Mandatory Health and Wellness Check

Keep in mind we are looking for new or unusual signs and symptoms.  Example: If you have seasonal allergies and you know you have a dry hacky cough, runny nose, and red watery eyes every fall, this is your personal baseline. If they are different or worse than prior experiences, these symptoms should be reported.

All individuals should take their temperature every day starting one week prior to returning to campus. Daily temperatures should be recorded to look at trends.  A normal body temperature ranges from 97 °F to 99 ° F, with an average of 98.6 ° F.  Knowing your personal baseline will help determine if you should be concerned. MCC will not be able to provide thermometers for employees and students, but employees with a Flexible Spending Account or a Health Savings Account can use those accounts to purchase a thermometer. This can be done using the FSA or HSA purchase card (credit card). Please make sure to keep your receipt when making any FSA or HSA purchase.

MI Symptoms:

Prior to coming to campus please establish an account with MI Symptoms at https://misymptomapp.state.mi.us/ employee code: 1763-9343 . Completing the health check prior to arriving on campus will streamline your access to campus facilities.

What To Do If Feeling Sick At Work

If you start to feel sick while working at the main campus or site please contact your immediate supervisor and leave the campus or site. Once off-site contact MCC Health Services at (810) 762-5667. to perform a health and wellness check.
